In response to the problems of low separation and separation efficiency of various components, difficulty in sorting positive and negative electrode materials, strong acid treatment required for nickel cobalt manganese metallurgical purification, and difficulty in regenerating negative electrode graphite in the process of resource utilization of waste lithium-ion batteries, the company has launched a collaborative technical attack with a research team from a well-known university. Through a combination of basic theoretical research and industrial experimental verification, the company has developed key technologies for efficient crushing combined separation of waste lithium-ion batteries, in-situ reduction and separation of positive electrode sheets, selective priority lithium extraction of positive electrode materials, and graphite regeneration and utilization. Ultimately, it has formed key technologies and equipment for green short process resource utilization of all components of waste lithium-ion batteries, built a multi process efficient collaborative green short process recycling demonstration line for waste lithium-ion batteries, and achieved green and low waste lithium-ion battery recycling.
